THE OPENING is cheap and works: two or three students describe a favourite food or vacation and why they would recommend it, then the class holds up 1, 2 or 3 fingers for how interested they now are. The point lands by itself — we share what we like easily, and we survive it when people are not interested. THE ISAIAH PASSAGES ARE A DELIBERATE CALLBACK: Isaiah 1:18 was 09-15 and Isaiah 25:4, 8–9 was YESTERDAY. Say that out loud — they are not being handed new material, they are being asked what of it they would want someone they love to have. HESITANCY: Enoch (Moses 6:27, 31) and Jeremiah both objected before they obeyed. Jeremiah's 'I cannot speak: for I am a child' is exactly what a fifteen-year-old feels, and the Lord's answer was not 'yes you can' but 'I am with thee.' THE MIRROR SKILL — Define, Model, Practice. MODEL IT YOURSELF FIRST: ask a student about their weekend, listen properly, then tell them about yours including something good from church. Do not skip the modelling; the practice falls flat without it. Second of the Missionary Preparation arc (196–200).",
