Hands up when they know it, but no one says it until all four are shown. Answer: the Great Apostasy. MULTIPLE FULFILMENT is the key Isaiah skill today and it is worth stating plainly: Isaiah 29 was first about Jerusalem's coming destruction AND also about the Apostasy and the Restoration (see 2 Nephi 27). Prophecy can mean more than one thing without any of them being wrong. ISAIAH 29:13–14 IS DOCTRINAL MASTERY — mark distinctively, give it the weight. 29:4 'whisper out of the dust' is the Book of Mormon; cross-reference 2 Nephi 33:13 and Mormon 8:23. 29:12 'him that is not learned' is Joseph Smith — JS—History 1:62–65 is the Anthon incident. HANDLE 29:13 GENTLY: honouring with lips while the heart is far off is a description that fits people in this room on some mornings, including me. Do not use it as a rebuke.",
