Psalm 24 — "Who Shall Ascend into the Hill of the Lord?"

The principle
We must prepare ourselves spiritually to worship the Lord in His temple and to dwell in His presence.
What the lesson is for
On a virtual day, have students read Psalm 24 on their own, picture what it describes, and make something that shows what they saw in it.

Read verses 3–4 slowly. What is David asking, and how does he answer his own question? Then read verses 7–10 — who is coming in?

VIRTUAL DAY — no class. Text or email the card image to every student the night before, and again at 6:30 AM. Psalm 24:3–4 is a DOCTRINAL MASTERY passage; remind them to mark it even though we are not together. What comes back is one image plus one sentence — that is the day's attendance and the day's journal entry. Expect wide variety: the hill, open gates, hands, a sunrise. Ask two or three students on Monday to show what they made and read their sentence; that is the bridge into Psalm 51.
