The principle
Praising Jesus Christ is something we choose to do out loud — and singing is where most of us do it.
What the lesson is for
Have students notice that the psalmists praised God out loud and on purpose, decide what praise looks like for them, and make an image they will actually keep where they will see it.

VIRTUAL DAY — no class. Text the card image to every student Thursday night and again at 6:30 AM Friday. This grew out of Wednesday's class: praise came up at the end of Lesson 105 and a student asked why we don't praise more. Keep the framing honest and warm — we DO praise, mostly when we sing, and the question is whether we mean it. Do not let it become a criticism of the Church or of anyone's ward. What comes back is one image plus one sentence; that is Friday's attendance and journal entry. On Monday, open Psalm 119 by showing three or four of the images and reading their sentences — then ask who actually put theirs on a lock screen.
